What this site knows about you.

Who runs the site

oliveprojects.eu is run by Kristoffer Olivero (Olive Projects), Sweden. For anything on this page, write to info@oliveprojects.eu.

What is stored on your device

Nothing. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage, and nobody else does it through the site either.

What your browser loads

Everything comes from oliveprojects.eu itself: the pages, the scripts, the images and the Inter typeface, which is self-hosted rather than fetched from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts no other company while a page loads.

Links to Google Play, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and GitHub are ordinary links. They do nothing until you click them, and after that you are on those companies' sites under their terms.

Server logs

The site runs on my own server, rented from Bahnhof in Sweden. Like almost every web server, it writes one line to a log for each request:

• IP address
• Date and time
• Page requested
• Previous page, if your browser sends it
• Browser and device type

I use the logs only to keep the server working and to find faults and abuse. They are not turned into visitor statistics, not combined with anything else and not shared. The logs are rotated every day and deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is legitimate interest: a public server cannot be run safely without them.

If you email me

Your message and address stay in my mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and are used for nothing but replying to you. They are never sold, shared or added to a mailing list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data is held about you, have it corrected or erased, and complain to a supervisory authority, in Sweden IMY.

For this site, that means at most two things: the server log lines from the last 14 days, and any email you have sent me. Write to info@oliveprojects.eu and I will tell you what there is and delete it.

Changes

If the site ever starts collecting something new, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
