Fear & Greed - Stocks & Crypto is built by Olive Projects EU. This page explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

Data we collect

Fear & Greed - Stocks & Crypto does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The app fetches publicly available market data from third-party APIs (CNN, Yahoo Finance, Alternative.me) and displays it locally on your device. No account is required.

Advertising (AdMob)

The free version of the app displays ads via Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers (e.g. advertising ID)
• General usage data and crash reports
• Approximate location (country/region level)

This data is collected by Google and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings under Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID.

Third-party data sources

Fear & Greed - Stocks & Crypto displays data sourced from:

• CNN Business — Fear & Greed Index
• Yahoo Finance — Stock indices and commodity prices
• Alternative.me — Crypto Fear & Greed Index

These requests are made directly from your device. No data is routed through Olive Projects servers.

Notifications

If you enable alerts, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data leaves your device or is stored externally.

No analytics or tracking

Fear & Greed - Stocks & Crypto does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or user tracking tools beyond what Google Play Services provides at the OS level.

Children's privacy

Fear & Greed - Stocks & Crypto is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when new features are added (such as when ads go live). The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
